CUBE RENTAL

Try Continuous Chromatography in Your Lab.

2-3-month CUBE rental with installation, training, and application support.

A fully qualified Contichrom® CUBE installed at your site — with hands-on training, and ongoing remote support. CUBE 30 (0.1–36 mL/min) or CUBE 100 (0.5–100 mL/min).

Why Rent a Contichrom® CUBE?

Switching from batch to continuous chromatography is a significant decision. Our rental program lets you de-risk that decision by running real process development on your own feed material — with a fully qualified Contichrom system installed at your site and YMC ChromaCon application scientists available throughout.

Rentals are particularly suited to teams who want to:

  • Generate side-by-side batch vs. continuous data for a business case or technology assessment
  • Develop an MCSGP or CaptureSMB® process for a specific molecule before committing to a system purchase
  • Train internal staff on twin-column chromatography in a hands-on, project-driven setting
  • Evaluate scale-up feasibility from lab to production columns

Available in Europe only. Customers outside Europe should contact their local YMC ChromaCon distributor for rental availability.

Training Workshop — What You Will Learn

The on-site training is an interactive, lab-based workshop where participants work directly with the rental system and their own molecules.

Day 1 — System Fundamentals & Batch Baseline
  • Introduction to Contichrom CUBE hardware and fluidic path
  • ChromIQ® software: programming methods, controlling runs, recording data
  • Programming and executing a preparative batch run
  • Sampling, analytics and evaluation of the batch chromatogram
  • Analyzing batch data to design the twin-column process
Day 2 — Twin-Column Process Design & First Run
  • Presentation: principles of MCSGP / CaptureSMB® / N-Rich® (depending on application)
  • Designing the continuous process setpoint from batch data
  • Running the first twin-column chromatography experiment
  • Sampling and evaluation of the continuous run
Day 3 (if applicable) — Optimization & Scale-Up
  • Evaluating initial continuous run results
  • Iterating on process parameters
  • Scale-up considerations via the ChromIQ® Method Editor
  • System maintenance, cleaning and storage procedures
  • Workshop wrap-up and next steps

YMC ChromaCon expects the user to be experienced in preparative chromatography. The training builds on that foundation.
