Demos & Introductions
See Continuous Chromatography in Action
Contichrom® and ChromIQ® demos in Zurich or via webinar.
When you want to see the system before committing — hands-on Contichrom® CUBE and ChromIQ® demonstrations at our Zurich application lab, or live via webinar. Hardware, software, MCSGP, CaptureSMB®, N-Rich®, and 2D/3D integrated batch covered.
See It Before You Decide
Evaluating a new chromatography platform is easier when you can see the hardware, try the software, and talk to the people who built it. YMC ChromaCon offers live demonstrations at no charge for teams exploring continuous chromatography or the Contichrom® platform.
Whether you want a broad overview or have a specific application in mind, we’ll tailor the session to your questions. Demos are not sales pitches — they’re working sessions designed to give you the information you need.
If you already know you need hands-on training or in-depth consulting, see our Training & Consulting page.
Our demos and introductory sessions are available to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across Europe. Customers outside Europe should contact their local YMC ChromaCon distributor for demo and introductory session availability in their region.
On-Site in Zurich
Visit ChromaCon’s application lab and see the Contichrom® CUBE in person. On-site demos let you interact directly with the hardware and software, watch live chromatography runs (when relevant to your interests), and have face-to-face discussions with our application scientists. This is the best option if you want a tangible feel for the system before making a decision.
Typical duration: Half day (2–4 hours)
Participants: Typically 2–8 people
Remote Webinar
For teams that can’t travel to Zurich, we offer the same introductory content via interactive webinar. Sessions are delivered live (not pre-recorded), with screen-shared software walkthroughs, guided hardware overviews, and real-time Q&A. Remote demos work well for initial evaluations and for teams that want to involve colleagues across multiple sites.
Typical duration: 1–3 hours
Participants: No practical limit
What a Demo Covers
Every demo is customized to your interests, but here are the core topics we can address. Tell us what matters most when you schedule — we’ll build the session around it.
Hardware — Contichrom® CUBE
A walkthrough of the system: the modular twin-column architecture, pumps, valves, detectors, and flow path. See the physical system up close (on-site) or via guided video and photos (webinar). We’ll explain how the CUBE’s 100-bar, four-pump design enables batch, integrated batch, and continuous processes on a single benchtop platform — and how methods scale to the PILOT and TWIN production systems.
Software — ChromIQ® 9 Suite
A live walkthrough of the ChromIQ® software ecosystem: the central operating interface, the ChromaCraft™ batch editor for 1D/2D/3D methods, the process wizards for CaptureSMB®, MCSGP, and N-Rich®, and the Evaluation Center for data analysis. We’ll show you how a method goes from design to execution to results — so you can judge the learning curve and workflow for yourself.
Processes & Applications
Based on your interest, we’ll demonstrate one or more of the Contichrom® process modes — CaptureSMB® (continuous capture), MCSGP (continuous polishing), N-Rich® (impurity enrichment), 2D/3D integrated batch, or standard batch — and discuss how each applies to your molecule class and separation challenge.
Services Overview
If you’re interested in YMC ChromaCon’s service offerings — feasibility studies, custom purification, or training — we can include an overview of how these work, what’s involved, and how they complement a system purchase.
